This is my personal site, which contains my technology related notes. This site is used as a social media tool for sharing my thoughts and does not require the user to share their personal data with me to view my posts. This site does NOT monetize your views with advertisements.
This information is not maintained on a regular basis, so it may be out of date and is provided on an as-is basis with no guarantee of accuracy.
What personal data we collect; and why we collect and retain it
CONTACT FORMS. Any information entered on the contact form is stored in a database for analysis and reporting. And is used to respond to your inquiry.
COOKIES. This site uses Google Analytics and other industry standard software to analyze site traffic to determine usage.To facilitate Googles reporting, Google uses tracking cookies and will collect your IP Address and other information provided by your browser. SYSTEM LOGS. This site uses system logs to monitor activity for diagnostic, and reporting needs. These logs can be shared with third party providers to assist in trouble shooting and reporting.
LOGON PAGE. Any information entered on the login page is stored in a database and shared with a security provider to improve site security. As this site does not provide user accounts, accept for site administration, all logon attempts are considered malicious and treated as such.
EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES. Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES. This website contains links to other sites that are not controlled by us in any way. When you click on any such external links, we are not responsible for the privacy practices and/or policies of any website other than our own. You should review the privacy policy for every website such links take you to. We have not reviewed the policy of any external sites on your behalf. We leave that undertaking to you. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH. We do not sell your personal information. Information gathered may be used by providers of software, to improve the quality of the software used in the development of this website. Any information gathered is also used for troubleshooting problems related to the website.
I may also share any information you provided to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a search warrant or other lawful request for information I receive, or to otherwise protect my rights.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA. This website has no data retention policy. Information gathered will be saved over various time periods, and will be purged as time and space permit. This site regularly makes backups of all site data and stores this information on 3rd party servers. The data privacy is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of the respective third parties.
What rights you have over your data
You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. Such efforts will be made on a best efforts case.
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information I hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Nor any information collected by 3rd parties about your usage on this site.

Where we send your data
Information entered on the Contact form is routed through Google SMTP services, and our personal email provider. Both of those have their own Privacy Policy in terms of how your data is handled.
If you reside outside the United States, your information will be transferred outside your region to the United States.
Additional information
CHANGES. I may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to my practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. No notice will be provided when changes are made.
MINORS. The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA. To protect your personal data, we use best practices for personal website security.
WHAT DATA BREACH PROCEDURES WE HAVE IN PLACE. We use 3rd party software to identify a security breach. In the event of a breach, we will shut down the website while analyzing the extent of the breach. To recover from a breach, we would delete the site and all of its data and start anew.
WHAT THIRD PARTIES WE RECEIVE DATA FROM. We receive data from 3rd party sources to improve upon site security. Some of the data is used for creating blocked lists of IP Addresses known to originate hacking attempts.
INDUSTRY REGULATORY DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS. We do not capture user names, credit card data or other personal information other than IP addresses and anonymous data provided by your browser. As such, we do not have any industry specific requirements for privacy.
